  1. It is apparent that the interactive whiteboard engages learners in all content areas and levels. As the video states, students are working with technology in every part of their lives but unfortunately, the classroom is too often an exception. Traditional methods of instruction are no longer meeting the needs of the students. Instructors must utilize innovative and participatory methods so students can make connections to new content in order for learning to take place. Two major advantages of the interactive whiteboard are capturing and holding students' attention longer than chalkboards, overhead projectors, and dry erase boards and also providing a visual representation of abstract and complex concepts. This is especially helpful in math classes!
